Sometimes, looking around and observing the things that we take for granted can awaken within ourselves the realization of true beauty. The word “natural” has often been used to describe the unblemished aesthetics of a certain object and I think I have never fully understood it’s power until now.
Myoung Ho Lee does a very good job at disciplining us to open our eyes and see the beauty that lies so close to us, yet so far away. I know I for one, looking at his art made me shed a tiny but very important bit of my cynicism and I hope that sharing it with you will do the same.
