There are changes ahead for the Korea-Canada Blog (KCB), which has decided to close. I’d like to share a little bit about what that looks like and also say thank you to everyone who has visited the blog and engaged with our content.
Firstly, I’d like to let you all know that the KCB will be closing as of November 19, 2020. This means that this web address will no longer be active, and KCB content will no longer be available here. However, I’d like to thank you on behalf of all the bloggers past and present for reading our posts and appreciating our passion for Korea!
I am so thankful to the Korean Cultural Centre of Canada for hosting this blog as an amazing opportunity for sharing Korean culture with Canadians. Although the blog will no longer be active, I would encourage you to check out their website (http://canada.korean-culture.org/en) to see all of the other incredible initiatives that they invest in with this same goal in mind.
As for me, I will continue to post content about Korea through my personal blog: https://thinkingaboutkpop.wordpress.com/, and I invite you to join me there! I also hope to re-post my old content there in some form so that my posts will still be available to you. Thank you for your patience as I work on getting everything organized on my personal blog.
I cannot express how grateful I am for the past three years as a KCB contributing writer. Blogging for you has been an absolute joy and has brought so much into my life. I thank you deeply for taking the time to engage with my posts. Each one of you has made this experience so rich and meaningful!
Thank you so much. Please take care, everyone, and I hope to see you on my personal blog.
