About the Korean Cultural Centre & the Korea-Canada Blog

The Korean Cultural Centre in Canada (KCC) is a government institution established under the jurisdiction of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to Canada. The mandate of the KCC is to enhance Korea-Canada relations by promoting mutual understanding between Koreans and Canadians through the sharing of Korean culture, and facilitating bilateral cooperation between arts and cultural institutions. The KCC aims to connect with Canadians by hosting and supporting a variety of cultural activities including exhibitions, performances, film screenings, festivals, cultural and language classes, as well as outreach programs. To learn more about the KCC, please visit our homepage: canada.korean-culture.org

As part of this mandate, the Korea-Canada Blog was established in 2013 (then an initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea) to mark the 50th anniversary of Korea-Canada diplomatic relations, with an aim to further strengthen the cultural exchanges and special friendship between the two countries. Bloggers from across Canada with a deep interest in Korean culture and Korea-Canada relations present unique stories to audiences around the globe on various topics ranging from Korean culture, Korea-Canada relations, to their personal encounters with Korea.

We hope you enjoy the works of our dedicated Bloggers who are passionate about Korea!
