feat. a Korean-Canadian is a blog series highlighting Korean-Canadians and their experiences, perspectives and thoughts on their identity as Korean-Canadians.
Back in June, I had the wonderful opportunity to feature Glen Choi, who teaches humanities and social sciences-related subjects at Seneca College in Toronto. At the time of the interview, Glen had just released a new book, Beginning, Middle and Zen (BMZ), a coming-of-age memoir about his quest for purpose and passion in his life. If you did not get a chance to read that interview then, here is the link:

Glen reached out to me a few days ago to give me an update about his book. His memoir was named a “Finalist” in the category of Eastern religion at the American Book Fest Awards! If you want to find out more about the awards, click the link below:

Huge congratulations to Glen and if you are interested in finding out more, his book is available on Amazon.
Is the logo new? Or maybe I’ve never noticed before until I’m thinking about my own. Anyways it’s very beautiful and I’m enjoying reading your posts.
Thank you so much! I’ve been using the image for the whole series. I have two more posts coming so I hope you enjoy them as well.
