UPDATE: If you want to learn Korean, but you could not make it to the class last week, you can still join on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015. Just bring cash or a cheque book along with slippers, thick socks, or shoes that you only wear indoors. To keep the school clean and dry, you will be asked to leave your boots just inside the door.
There are many reasons to learn Korean – for a vacation or a business trip, to better understand songs, music videos, films or K-dramas, to read the menus at Korean restos and the labels on items imported from Korea, or to say “please, thank you” and “hi, how are you?” if your local dep is run by Koreans.
Exercising you brain is a good reason, too!
Whatever your reason, consider classes at Ganada Korean Language School in NDG.
They start at 1 p.m. today, Saturday, Feb 21, 2015.
Sorry for the really short notice – I just found out myself. I’ll find out if people who can’t make it today can still sign up next week.
The spring semester runs from Feb. 21 to May 9, 2015, and costs $140. Classes start at 1 and end at 3 p.m.
